About the Role

Role Overview

As a Training Support Center (TSC) Specialist/Technician, you will provide essential technical and logistical support at U.S. Army training sites. Your responsibilities include managing, operating, and maintaining Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) to ensure equipment is fully functional and ready for use during military exercises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues with TADSS systems to maintain operational readiness.
  • Issue and receive equipment, ensuring precise tracking and documentation of all property and inventory.
  • Provide on-site assistance during training events, including setup, configuration, and real-time technical support.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to extend equipment life and reliability.
  • Support TSC leadership with daily operations such as inventory audits, reporting, and equipment staging.
  • Follow Army regulations, safety protocols, and compliance standards in all activities.
  • Complete additional tasks as needed to support mission objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail with solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment; quick to adapt and learn new systems.
  • Self-directed with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
  • Proficiency in handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Skilled in using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Physically and mentally capable of performing extended duties, including prolonged computer use and sitting.
  • Willingness to work outside standard hours, including holidays, and to travel as required.

Preferred Background

  • Prior military service is highly valued.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position located at assigned U.S. Army installations. Flexibility is required, including the ability to work non-traditional hours and travel when necessary. The role demands consistent attention to digital systems and a professional, mission-focused workspace.
