About the Role

DoorDash is hiring a Territory Account Executive to grow our merchant partnerships and empower local economies. In this outside sales role, you will own the full sales cycle, prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with restaurant owners across your assigned market.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with restaurant owners in person to pitch DoorDash’s suite of offerings and build strong local relationships.
  • Negotiate revenue share agreements and sell multi-product solutions.
  • Use creative strategies in your sales processes and prospect outreach.
  • Share on-the-ground insights with sales leadership and operations teams.
  • Mentor teammates on best practices after establishing yourself in the role.
  • Travel into different markets, with up to 50% travel, to meet with restaurant owners.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role, preferably in an outside sales or field-forward environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle, typically closing deals within days.
  • A history of consistently exceeding KPIs and sales targets through disciplined activity.
  • Experience selling multi-product solutions and tailoring your pitch to each merchant.
  • An approach to challenges rooted in fundamentals: clear discovery, strong communication, and merchant-first thinking.
  • Demonstrated creative and resourceful outreach tactics to engage with prospects.
  • Technical proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
