Campus is hiring an Admissions Counselor (Phoenix, AZ)

About the Role

As an Admissions Counselor, you’ll play a key role in supporting students as they take the first steps toward their educational journey. You’ll engage daily with applicants through phone, text, and email, using active listening and clear communication to understand their goals and concerns.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead meaningful conversations that help students clarify their motivations and navigate enrollment decisions
  • Identify obstacles—academic, logistical, or emotional—and provide thoughtful guidance to move forward
  • Conduct structured interviews to assess student readiness and align programs with personal objectives
  • Guide applicants through each stage of the admissions process, ensuring clarity around program details, timelines, and expectations
  • Maintain consistent follow-up using a mix of calls, messages, and emails—averaging over 80 calls per day
  • Document interactions accurately in Salesforce to ensure smooth coordination across teams
  • Manage your workflow independently, balancing daily tasks, outreach, and record-keeping with precision
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, staying focused and resilient even when facing setbacks or student hesitation

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Experience managing high-volume outreach and tracking performance metrics
  • Comfort using CRM systems like Salesforce or Google Sheets, or a willingness to learn them quickly
  • Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with team goals

Preferred Background

Prior experience in admissions, recruitment, advising, or customer-facing roles is a plus. We value candidates who combine performance focus with genuine care for student success.
