Salesforce is hiring a Territory Account Executive - Public Sector CHAT to grow our presence in Switzerland and Austria. In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling our entire portfolio of products to small and medium-sized Public Sector accounts, driving new opportunities, and managing complex sales cycles to exceed quarterly and annual targets.
What You'll Do
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving new opportunities and selling solutions into the Public Sector market.
- Sell Salesforce's portfolio to small and medium business Public Sector accounts.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage and orchestrate entire complex sales cycles, often presenting to C-level executives.
- Evangelize the Salesforce vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account initiatives.
- Run the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with emphasis on new business sales.
- Formalize a Go To Market strategy and build qualified target account lists through customer discovery and research.
- Drive Pipeline development through customer engagements, marketing campaigns, and market sector intelligence.
- Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline to meet and exceed bookings objectives.
- Engage with prospect organizations via strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, and references.
- Provide accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process by engaging appropriate resources such as Business Development Representatives, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners.
- Generate short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation.
- Build strong and effective relationships resulting in growth opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions, ideally business applications, from a major software vendor or system integrator.
- Successful history of net new business sales (direct), with ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
- Proven track record of sales overachievement, selling to customers within the Public Sector in Switzerland and Austria.
- Credibility at all levels and evidence of building positive relationships internally and with customers.
- Fluency in both English and German.
