HF Sinclair Corporation is hiring a Terminal Supervisor to oversee all product movement in and out of the Henderson, Colorado facility. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate operations including truck and rail loading/offloading, tank transfers, and pipeline receipts.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with pipeline scheduling and marketing departments.
- Determine work procedures, set priorities, prepare work schedules, and expedite Terminal workflow.
- Prioritize procurement of materials and equipment.
- Assess current processes, evaluate appropriate software, and provide recommendations for automation and efficiencies.
- Establish, maintain, and document procedures to organize workflow; organize and conduct weekly meetings.
- Analyze and develop solutions for problems arising within the department.
- Prepare weekly payroll input, verify employee calculations, and maintain attendance and leave allocation for account receivable employees.
- Act as liaison between the Terminal and other related departments.
- Act as a liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate training with responding municipal emergency services.
- Verify Terminal documents for accuracy of calculations, information, and approvals.
- Handle escalated telephone calls and respond to department electronic mail.
- Develop reports, isolate potential operational issues, and provide recommendations and ad hoc reports to management.
- Handle special assignments or tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of seven years of related experience.
- At least two years of experience in a lead role.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience at the management level.
- Special training and/or certifications in computer accounting software.
- Special training and/or certifications in hazardous materials.
- A significant amount of energy industry experience.
- A significant amount of supervisory experience.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Ability to perform basic level mathematical calculations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal.
Team & Environment
You will be responsible for the direct supervision of at least four employees.
