Equip Health is looking for a Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for children and adults with eating disorders. You will be a core member of a 5-person virtual treatment team, delivering care 100% virtually through our telehealth platform.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for psychiatrically complex patients with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.
- Implement medication treatment plans for individuals in a virtual telehealth clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of medical providers, dietitians, therapists, and mentors, along with outside providers.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, learning opportunities, and department meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years working as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant.
- Maintain an active license to practice in your patients' state(s) and/or willingness to become licensed in others (Equip covers costs).
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based care, advancing clinical skills, and professional development.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their carers, responding to messages in a timely manner.
- Curiosity, a love of learning, and enthusiasm for participating in a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfort and experience treating patients with emotion dysregulation, suicidal ideation, substance use, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and ADHD.
Team & Environment
You will work as part of a 5-person virtual treatment team, collaborating closely with a therapist, dietitian, physician, and peer and family mentor to support patient recovery.

- Compensation range: $114,000 - $142,000 per year.

Work Mode
This is a fully remote position requiring residence and the ability to practice in the Pacific Time Zone.
