Jobgether is looking for a Technical Writer to create and maintain clear, accurate, and engaging product documentation for our software solutions. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information, verify technical accuracy, and ensure content meets the needs of diverse audiences, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Research and gather technical information by interviewing subject matter experts and using products directly.
- Write, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation including user guides, manuals, and online help.
- Test documentation against software to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Identify inconsistencies between design, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to implement an information architecture that maximizes content reuse and consistency.
- Prepare weekly status reports and manage documentation projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for documentation, localization, and content management.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a technical writing capacity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Atlassian Confluence, Jira, and CSS for document formatting.
- Experience with content management systems, localization best practices, and documentation standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with flexibility and strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- University degree in English, Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience with authoring tools such as MadCap Flare.
