Remote Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our UK-based team remotely from South Africa. You will play a key role in expanding our client base by generating leads and securing qualified sales meetings through strategic outbound outreach.
What You'll Do
- Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to generate leads and book qualified sales meetings.
- Manage and update CRM systems with accurate information and activity tracking.
- Identify and research potential clients and key decision-makers.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns or referrals.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly outreach and meeting targets.
- Work collaboratively with the UK-based sales team to align messaging and strategy.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and client engagement in all communication.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales or outbound B2B lead generation role.
- Proven confidence in cold calling and securing appointments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and organised.
- Must have a reliable laptop or desktop, high-speed internet connection, and backup power supply.
- Previous experience working with UK, US, or international clients is essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably within recruitment.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is advantageous.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the UK-based sales team, collaborating on messaging and strategy alignment.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position for a candidate based in South Africa, operating on a global schedule to support the UK team.
