ATEXIS is seeking a Technical Writer to join a team dedicated to creating technical documentation for complex defense automotive systems. In this role, you will directly contribute to the clarity and precision of information essential for operational maintenance and safety.
What You'll Do
- Conceive and write technical documents such as user manuals and maintenance guides for systems with ground connections.
- Conduct required tests to validate documentation and system procedures.
- Create or modify technical illustrations to support written content.
- Analyze and exploit CAD plans (CATIA) to produce clear and precise documentation.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant technical standards, notably S1000D (training will be provided if necessary).
What We're Looking For
- A technical writing or maintenance training qualification (BAC +2 to BAC +5).
- At least 2 years of combined experience in operational maintenance and technical writing.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the automotive, heavy truck, or mechanical sectors.
- Knowledge of technical writing standards, with S1000D specifically appreciated.
