Reflection AI is looking for a Technical Sourcer to join our Research Team. You will own the top-of-funnel strategy for our most challenging AI research positions, mapping global talent and building targeted pipelines to help us find and attract the best minds in the field.

What You'll Do

Lead sourcing efforts for AI Research Scientists and other niche technical roles.
Build and execute targeted search strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, conference attendee lists, academic publications, and open-source contributions.
Map research communities, track emerging talent, and identify top researchers from leading AI labs and universities.
Qualify candidates through initial conversations to ensure alignment on skills, experience, and research focus.
Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with top talent, even if not immediately available.
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to refine search criteria and deliver high-quality leads.
Track sourcing metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline health to continuously improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of technical sourcing experience with a proven track record in AI/ML research talent acquisition.
Strong familiarity with research hiring cycles, publication review, and academic talent mapping.
Experience with sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Juicebox.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with highly specialized talent.
Detail-oriented, metrics-driven, and comfortable working in a high-velocity startup environment.

You will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers. You'll work with founders from DeepMind and a world-class research team, helping to build the next generation of AI research talent pipelines.
