DuPont is hiring a Technical Sales Account Manager for its Healthcare Packaging business focused on Tyvek® Roll Goods. In this role, you will drive demand generation and expand relationships with Medical Device Manufacturer and Pharmaceutical accounts across North America. You will be instrumental in securing strategic partnerships and facilitating DuPont’s cross-functional engagement to grow our presence in the healthcare packaging market.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and expand relationships with large, mid-size, and high-growth Medical Device Manufacturers serving the North America Healthcare Packaging market.
- Build sustainable customer relationships to inspire trust and drive a robust opportunity pipeline.
- Work collaboratively to assess and secure business at risk, and negotiate contracts for new opportunities and incentives.
- Extend DuPont’s value proposition across critical accounts to maximize business results, increase brand awareness, and grow revenues.
- Create detailed account plans and contact strategies that enhance cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise.
- Support account contacts to develop a pipeline of targeted opportunities that promotes Tyvek® for new applications or material replacements.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with DuPont technical, quality, product management, supply chain, customer service, and marketing teams to address customer needs.
- Engage and actively participate in regional Healthcare Industry Organizations.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Competency in packaging science, nonwovens, films, coatings, and adhesives.
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- Work experience at a major OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
- Familiarity with the technical and regulatory requirements for evaluating and commercializing materials in healthcare packaging.
- A results-oriented and resilient hunter mindset.
- The ability to quickly secure the confidence and trust of customers and internal colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders both internal and external.
- Strong professional presence, business acumen, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop an execution plan.
- Experience with sales pipeline/opportunity management and CRM tools such as SFDC.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
