PaKo Consulting is seeking a Team Lead - IT Platform & Application Engineering (m/f/x) to provide technical and disciplinary leadership for our internal platform and application landscape. You will be responsible for two engineering teams, develop strategic roadmaps, and manage projects from concept to completion.

What You'll Do

Take on technical and disciplinary leadership of two engineering teams (3 people each).
Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Develop the strategic roadmap for internal platform and application landscape with department leadership.
Plan, manage, and take responsibility for technical projects from concept to successful completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Actively drive automation of infrastructure, especially through Infrastructure as Code.
Support team in developing and delivering scalable, robust, and user-friendly internal applications.
Act as central point of contact for internal stakeholders (development teams, product management, security).
Ensure smooth information flow between departments.
Coordinate handling of technical requests and ensure team has right conditions to work efficiently.

What We're Looking For

Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development.
Initial technical or disciplinary leadership experience (e.g., as Team Lead, Tech Lead, or similar role).
Technological home in Linux systems and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Confident working with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines.
Embrace and promote agile ways of working (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and motivating hands-on mentality.
Strong customer and service orientation.
Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
