Boeing Ukraine LLC is seeking a System Engineering Manager to lead engineering projects and teams in Kyiv. The role involves managing project execution, coordinating with Boeing Commercial Airplanes Engineering Groups, defining project goals, tracking progress, and ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning with organizational and business unit objectives.
What You'll Do
- Active communication with Customer (Boeing Commercial Airplanes Engineering Groups) on forecast and scope of upcoming work, required resources and possible risks.
- Interact with Customer for confirmation and approval of project and processes requirements, including quality, budget and terms.
- Clarification of technical requirements when necessary.
- Define project goals (including quality goals, timely work implementation and Customer satisfaction), focused on organization’s and business unit goals achievement in accordance with project development strategy and requirements of internal documentation.
- Tracking of project goals achievement.
- Define resources required for project execution: together with technical leads develop staffing plan, organizational chart, define required tools and processes.
- Coordinate with Systems and other discipline leaders, business units and Capacity & Capability leadership when necessary.
- Monitor progress of work and its accordance to requirements.
- Perform systematic analysis of work results.
- Report to leadership about work progress and results.
- Develop and keep up to date necessary project documentation: project plan, performance metrics etc.
- Identify risks and possible negative consequences and take appropriate actions.
- Provide systematic receiving of the information about Customer’s satisfaction.
- Analyze customer satisfaction information and develop corrective actions.
- Report to leadership about results of analysis of Customer’s satisfaction.
- Look for opportunities to further development of projects.
- Build long-term relationship with Customer.
- Search and implement B2B solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 4+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.
- Work experience as part of international team.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the Ukrainian and English language.
- Experience in a people management position.
- Existing authorization to work in Ukraine.
Nice to Have
- Experience in technical management and oversight of projects and resources.
- Experience leading and mentoring large engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering.
- Experience developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures and sets operational goals for the team.
- Flexibility to support various time zones and off hours meetings.
