DOF Subsea Atlantic is seeking an offshore Survey Engineer to join our Survey and Inspection department. In this hands-on role, you will operate advanced survey technology to collect, analyze, and record data, ensuring the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of our offshore operations.
What You'll Do
- Operate state-of-the-art survey technology to collect, analyze, and record data to the highest standards.
- Prepare, use, and maintain all relevant survey logs, documentation, and reports.
- Monitor real-time displays; examine calibration, data plots, and charts/maps.
- Report and follow up deficiencies, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or incidents using appropriate systems.
- Work alongside survey personnel onshore and offshore, ROV crew, Shift Supervisors, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Support vessel mobilization and demobilization as needed.
- Maintain survey-related equipment in excellent working condition.
- Report key findings to senior team members, identify issues, and contribute to solutions.
- Contribute to the development of new systems in renewable energy and offshore decommissioning.
