ALDO Group is hiring a Supervisor Copper Splicing to oversee the critical work of preparing, splicing, and enclosing copper and telecommunications infrastructure. You will lead a team to ensure all projects are completed to exact customer and industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Supervise all splicing operations to ensure completion in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
- Train, supervise, and develop a team of copper splicers.
- Control and oversee splicing teams, maintaining safety as a top priority.
- Complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, track work hours, and finalize 'as-built' maps.
- Reconcile all issued parts and materials daily for accurate usage counts.
- Perform quality control inspections on work completed by employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain and enforce company, federal, and state rules and regulations.
- Administer corrective disciplinary actions and prepare supporting documentation.
- Be willing to work nights and weekends, available by phone or in person.
What We're Looking For
- 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
- Advanced analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Effectiveness in leading team efforts, providing recommendations, and giving presentations.
- Verifiable evidence of experience in construction or related fields.
- Ability to perform any necessary equipment installation.
- Ability to pass background and drug screen requirements.
- Capability to work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
Nice to Have
- A 4-year degree.
- FOA CERT.
- OSHA 30 certification.
