BeOne is hiring a Summer Internship: Packaging Engineering Intern (Remote)

BeOne’s Global Commercial Supply Chain (GCSC) organization is looking for a Packaging Engineering Intern to join its Packaging Engineering team for an ~11-week remote internship. You will gain hands-on exposure to real-world packaging engineering challenges, supporting high-impact initiatives in design, process qualification, and thermal shipping solutions within a highly collaborative global team.

What You'll Do

• Support the development of global packaging standards by contributing to the creation and rollout of standard documents.
• Assist with process harmonization to establish consistent packaging practices across regions, products, and sites.
• Help create, update, and maintain GMP-compliant controlled documents like SOPs, Work Instructions, and Packaging Component Specifications.
• Assist in the qualification of primary and secondary packaging solutions.
• Author packaging component test protocols and prepare detailed test reports.
• Partner with external testing laboratories to schedule, execute, and track packaging tests.
• Review test results, monitor issue resolution, and support data analysis and documentation.
• Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams such as Logistics, Quality, CMO Management, and external suppliers.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering, or a similar engineering or science field.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university following the internship assignment.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills, including oral presentation.
• Strong collaboration skills to succeed in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams.
• Proactive approach for supporting and managing projects.
• Understanding of global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GDP).
• In-depth skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Willingness to attend early morning or evening meetings due to the company's global nature.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AutoCAD or a similar program.

• Compensation: $27/hour USD.
