Beacon Biosignals is hiring a Summer 2026 Legal Intern to join the Policy and Government Affairs, Immigration team within our National Political Advocacy Department. This role focuses on advancing immigrants' rights through legal research, policy analysis, and advocacy support.
What You'll Do
- Conduct legal and policy research, draft reports, and analyze federal and state legislation, advocacy efforts, and related legal and policy issues.
- Prepare advocacy and public education materials; draft memorandum and correspondence.
- Monitor legal and legislative developments in state legislatures and in Congress, as well as Executive branch regulatory and administrative actions.
- Work with teammates to manage projects.
- Support team's efforts to do congressional outreach through briefings, meetings on Capitol Hill, and letters.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled law student.
- Strong knowledge of immigration law and policy.
- Excellent research, writing, analysis, and communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and willing to learn; able to balance differing responsibilities and prioritize; able to manage projects and see them through to completion.
- Able to work well independently, as well as part of a team.
- Must be based in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
