Lavendo is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & M&A Director to identify acquisition targets and negotiate partnerships that accelerate our market expansion as we scale towards a $1B annual run rate. You will source proprietary technology and talent, playing a critical role in our aggressive growth strategy.
What You'll Do
- Identify and analyze potential acquisition targets in the AI/ML startup ecosystem
- Conduct preliminary technical and business screening of startups
- Build and maintain relationships with top VC firms and partners for deal pipeline development
- Structure partnership agreements and acquisition proposals
- Work closely with the corporate development team on deal negotiations
- Support due diligence processes and integration planning
- Create and manage startup partnership programs
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in venture capital, corporate development, investment banking, or strategic partnerships
- Proven experience in M&A transactions involving AI/ML companies
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience with M&A transactions, due diligence, and deal structuring
- Proven track record in business development and partnership management
- Strong networking abilities within VC and startup ecosystems
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship

- Technical/product background preferred for AI infrastructure evaluation

- Compensation: $250K–$400K per year, including base, bonuses, and RSUs, negotiable based on experience and location
