Chainlink Labs is looking for a Strategic Account Manager - DeFi to nurture and enhance relationships with our strategic partners in leading DeFi protocols. In this role, you will focus on deeply understanding partner requirements, facilitating product integration, and delivering exceptional account management to drive satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Establish a comprehensive account management plan covering community engagement, DAO governance, delegate outreach, product integration, and roadmap alignment.
- Undertake new business development activities to acquire new DeFi protocols for Chainlink.
- Create and oversee the team structure for executing the account management plan.
- Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Grow product usage of existing offerings.
- Take user feedback to help product teams generate new features and products to increase user satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of extensive account, new business, and/or relationship management in technical environments.
- Experience managing large, complex accounts and successfully engaging stakeholders at all levels and functions within organizations.
- Knowledge of web3 / blockchain technology and strong experience with DeFi, including personal hands-on use.
- 2+ years experience working with decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
- Ability to travel 20%+.
Nice to Have
- Experience within non-EVM ecosystems.
- Strong experience navigating DAO governance structures.
- Ability to read code, hold technical conversations, and navigate large-scale software development projects.
- Pre-sales experience, strong business acumen, and experience driving commercial negotiations.
