We are recruiting this position out of Stockholm The Strategic Account Executive role extends the Associate Strategic Account Executive position and reports to an Area Sales Manager or Regional Director. Responsibilities: 1. Support GitLab's strategic large prospects and customers in telecommunications and related verticals 2. Provide account leadership throughout pre- and post-sales processes 3. Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts 4. Ensure successful product rollout and adoption through robust account management 5. Represent customer perspectives by contributing ideas to public issue tracker 6. Generate qualified leads via strategic channel partners 7. Continuously expand industry knowledge and competitive understanding 8. Prepare activity and forecast reports 9. Contribute to root cause analysis of sales outcomes 10. Communicate lessons learned across teams 11. Assist management in conveying customer needs to product and technical teams 12. Utilize consultative approach in developing formal sales proposals 13. Create comprehensive account plans aligned with customer business needs 14. Collaborate with Marketing on strategic initiatives Requirements: 1. Genuine commitment to customer success 2. Ability to manage and control complex account dynamics 3. Capability to work independently on intricate projects 4. Experience selling to large organizations, preferably telecommunications 5. Skill in leveraging established relationships and proven sales techniques 6. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing capabilities 7.
