About the role: The Sales team is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for the Public Sector organization. This role focuses on expanding customer base within Civilian agencies by selling innovative solutions and encouraging rapid portfolio adoption. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales, engineering, professional services, and support to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Successful applicants must reside in a state where the company is registered to conduct business. What you will do: - Sell comprehensive technology solutions, including Linux, cloud platforms, automation tools, and professional services - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key projects, programs, and offices for solution implementation - Provide strategic guidance to senior IT and executive leadership, establishing long-term customer partnerships - Manage intricate sales cycles from prospecting through closure, maintaining sustainable revenue across technologies - Develop strategic account solutions to establish proof of concept and guide implementation strategies - Oversee account planning processes and strategic plan delivery What you will bring: - 6+ years of solutions sales experience, with 2+ years selling directly to U.S. federal government - Comprehensive understanding of open source models, artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, and IT modernization - Experience in consultative customer engagement with enterprise software organizations - Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation expertise - Extensive knowledge of government acquisition processes within civilian sectors - Capacity to maintain sales momentum across multiple offering environments The salary range for this position is $267,280.00 - $441,160.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Compensation is determined by multiple factors including job location, experience, skills, market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary represents one compensation component, potentially supplemented by bonus, commission, and/or equity opportunities.
