Role Overview
This is a remote Account Executive position with a requirement to travel weekly for face-to-face client engagements in the Indianapolis, IN area. You'll play a central role in expanding our client base by leading the end-to-end sales process and cultivating long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals
- Apply consultative techniques to uncover client challenges and deliver tailored solutions
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships with stakeholders across organizations
- Grow a consistent revenue pipeline and exceed performance targets
- Log all activities, forecasts, and client interactions in Salesforce CRM
- Complete required security training and adhere to company compliance standards
- Report potential security concerns to leadership and assist in resolution
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support team objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in IT sales
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a territory efficiently
- Solid business judgment with a focus on aligning solutions to client goals
- Must reside in the United States and be located in the Indianapolis area
Preferred Background
- Prior field sales experience with a value-added reseller (VAR)
- Background selling IT infrastructure or cybersecurity products
Technology Used
Salesforce CRM is our primary platform for tracking sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this role in New York City ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, with adjustments based on location. In addition to base pay, there are opportunities for bonus and commission earnings.
