Clarivate is hiring a STEM Content Analyst - Polymer for our IP Indexing team in Chennai. In this role, you will extract novel scientific information from Polymer patents and value-add using DWPI codes for the DERWENT INNOVATION product, directly contributing to a high-quality content database.
What You'll Do
- Extract novel scientific information from Polymer patents and value-add using DWPI codes in line with editorial policies.
- Index and code Polymer information found in patents.
- Extract and curate polymer-related information such as monomers, catalysts, additives, chemical processes, physical operations, and applications.
- Maintain awareness of current trends and new developments in Polymer and Chemistry areas.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry, Polymer science, Organic chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Inorganic Chemistry, OR an M.Tech/B.Tech in Polymer technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of content experience.
- Outstanding English communication skills.
- Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice to Have
- Experience using chemical drawing packages, such as ISIS Draw.

Work Mode
This role is onsite in Chennai.
