Webflow is looking for a Staff Researcher to lead complex, strategic mixed-methods research that shapes product and business decisions. In this role, you will mentor researchers, build scalable research systems, and innovate with AI-native practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex, strategic mixed-methods research.
- Own end-to-end, multi-phase research programs addressing ambiguous, high-impact questions across product pillars.
- Blend qualitative depth with quantitative rigor to generate foundational insights, evaluate product directions, and de-risk decisions.
- Define learning agendas that shape multi-quarter product strategy.
- Design advanced quantitative studies, including high-signal, statistically robust survey programs.
- Conduct nuanced qualitative research, including in-depth interviews, concept tests, cognitive walkthroughs, and fieldwork.
- Synthesize evidence from qual, quant, behavioral logs, market research, and sales data into crisp, decision-ready storytelling.
- Elevate research systems, standards, and practice by creating reusable frameworks and partnering with Research Ops.
- Drive AI-native research innovation, using AI as a core part of workflow and designing hybrid human-AI workflows.
- Mentor and multiply impact by coaching junior researchers and guiding cross-functional partners.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate degree or relevant experience
- 8+ years in user research, market research, consumer insights, behavioral science, or similar mixed-methods roles.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-method studies with high ambiguity and high business stakes.
Nice to Have
- Astute business acumen and experience conducting research on B2B/SaaS products and business models.
- Skilled at identifying the most important research topics and articulating essential insights.
- Robust quantitative skills, especially programmatic survey design and data analysis.
- Dynamic qualitative methods across the product strategy and development lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Comfort influencing senior leaders across Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Sales.
- Lead with an AI-native mindset, using AI naturally and responsibly as a core component of workflows.
- Capable of transformative AI usage, inventing or scaling new workflows.
- Stay curious and open to growth, building fluency in emerging technologies like AI.

- Compensation: United States Zone A: $161,700 - $204,000; Zone B: $151,300 - $191,800; Zone C: $141,900 - $179,500; Canada (ON & BC): CAD 183,300 - 232,200 + equity: Every permanent Webflower receives equity (RSUs).

This is a remote-first role open to candidates in the United States Remote and Canada Remote (BC & ON only).
