Role OverviewJoin a forward-thinking team as a Business Systems Analyst, where you'll play a central role in refining and maintaining core business systems. Working remotely from India, you'll focus on optimizing Salesforce and supporting data infrastructure to improve operational efficiency across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine current business workflows, uncover inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to enhance performance
- Design and implement system configurations, including custom forms, workflows, and data models in Salesforce
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and support their development
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve system issues efficiently, escalating complex cases when necessary
- Manage Salesforce setup including security settings, page layouts, automation rules, and data validation
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using SOQL, SQL, and reporting tools to surface actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making across departments
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Use AI tools to automate routine analysis and improve documentation workflows
- Lead or support small to mid-sized projects and assist in larger cross-functional efforts
- Mentor junior analysts, helping them build technical and analytical capabilities
- Act as a key contact between business units and technical teams, gathering requirements and delivering solutions
- Train end users and maintain clear, up-to-date system documentation
What You Bring
- Minimum of four years in a business systems or analyst role with strong Salesforce experience
- Proven background in SaaS or technology environments
- Deep familiarity with enterprise systems, especially Salesforce and go-to-market platforms
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required
- Proficiency in SOQL and SQL, with experience in querying, joining tables, and diagnosing data issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in asynchronous, remote-first teams
- Skilled in problem-solving and process optimization
- Ability to map business processes and recommend practical improvements
Nice to Have
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud)
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methods
- Experience with NetSuite, MuleSoft, or other GTM technologies
