About the Role

American Airlines is looking for a Staff Assistant I to join our Airport Hubs & Gateway Team within the Customer Experience Division. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support to keep our hub and gateway stations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Handle primary roles: attendance and compliance, distribution of equipment and supplies, coordinating payroll, and maintaining operation coverage.
  • Manage new hire and transfer onboarding.
  • Perform office duties: coordinate meetings, handle filing and telephone coverage, greet customers, manage mail, order supplies, reconcile P-card spending, arrange travel, and track team anniversaries.
  • Assist with the preparation of management presentations and special projects.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate office technology issues, including phones and copiers.
  • Track and ensure employees complete onboarding duties, including system access, lockers, uniforms, badges, and training.
  • Assist in station event planning, coordination, and execution for team activities and recognition events.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Previous office or clerical experience.

Technical Stack

  • MS Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
