American Airlines is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance Division. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while processing invoices for payment and ensuring SOX compliance.
What You'll Do
- Perform data entry of invoices directly into SAP
- Perform uploads of payable items into SAP
- Perform identification and validation of vendors to be paid
- Perform audit of approvals to ensure compliance with Resource Approval Policy
- Perform scanning and indexing of invoices and AP documents for broad visibility
- Respond to e-mails in a group e-mail box
- Perform other functions and ad-hoc projects as assigned to meet department and company goals
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED Equivalency
Nice to Have
- Prior accounts payable experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior SAP experience
