Coupa Software, Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, Technical Accounting to provide expertise on complex accounting matters and ensure adherence to financial standards. You will be a key leader within the accounting function responsible for critical technical areas.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain corporate accounting policies
- Review contracts and agreements to assess accounting implications
- Support financial reporting process and external audit engagements
- Provide guidance and training to the accounting team on technical topics
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting
- CPA certification with deep expertise in US GAAP
- Proven experience with SEC reporting for a public company
- Strong analytical skills for complex accounting and financial instruments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience in the software/SaaS industry
- Big 4 public accounting firm experience
- Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions accounting
