About the Role

What You'll Do

Oversee financial operations for multiple legal entities across the Americas, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with local GAAP, and alignment with corporate standards. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including final review of trial balances, P&L, and balance sheet reporting.

Direct accounting functions in SAGE, reviewing general ledger entries and identifying financial trends or irregularities. Partner with regional leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis, support operational decisions, and enhance financial controls. Lead audit coordination with external firms, manage statutory filings, and ensure compliance with tax regulations including VAT and corporate income tax.

Collaborate with corporate teams on global consolidation, process optimization, and system improvements. Support treasury activities such as bank operations, payment workflows, and funding management. Provide guidance on financial and compliance aspects of business transactions, including M&A integration and new entity setup.

Lead and develop a small team of accountants, fostering professional growth and operational efficiency. Act as the primary finance liaison for regional stakeholders, supporting cross-functional projects and contributing to the evolution of financial frameworks across the region.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing finance operations across multiple legal entities in the Americas
  • Deep understanding of local GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience leading month-end and year-end close, audit processes, and compliance reviews
  • Proficiency in SAGE and other accounting systems
  • Strong background in tax compliance, statutory reporting, and working with external consultants
  • Experience managing treasury functions, including bank relationships and payment systems
  • Skilled in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reforecasting
  • Leadership experience with team management and process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to operate independently in a complex, international environment
  • Background supporting M&A integration and new legal entity setup from a finance perspective
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally
