What You'll Do
Shape and oversee a unified quality framework for all finance systems, covering general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue and expense recognition, trial balance, and financial reporting. Ensure every output meets the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Report directly to the EVP of Quality and serve as the central authority for quality in financial data used for external disclosures.
Conduct regular audits of critical datasets, track First Pass Yield and defect trends, and issue weekly performance summaries highlighting systemic risks. Lead root cause investigations for failures or audit rejections, and implement lasting fixes across data pipelines, system integrations, and process controls. Activate escalation protocols when critical issues threaten compliance or reporting timelines.
Collaborate with senior finance and IT leaders to embed quality into system design and governance. Ensure specifications for data integrity, reconciliation, and audit readiness are documented, version-controlled, and consistently enforced. Partner with SOX compliance and external auditors to confirm submissions are error-free and inspection-ready from the outset.
