What You'll Do
Oversee a team of 10–12 Biomedical Service Specialists within the Central South Carolina region, ensuring consistent performance, professional growth, and adherence to technical and safety standards. You'll manage hiring, performance evaluations, and development plans in coordination with senior leadership.
Conduct regular site visits—semiannually or as needed—to assess technical operations, verify compliance with policies, and support facility-level biomedical activities. Lead the implementation of training programs, including onboarding, ongoing education, and annual skills recertification, ideally completed ahead of performance reviews.
Collaborate with clinical and operations teams through participation in Field Health Management meetings and Field Operations Core Team discussions. Support disaster preparedness planning and contribute to emergency response deployments as required. Promote efficient use of resources by managing labor, equipment, and financial systems, including budget tracking and procurement approvals for tools, parts, and capital assets.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, and assist during regulatory inspections when necessary. Drive adoption of updated policies, vendor changes, and new product implementations under the direction of senior leadership. Develop on-call scheduling practices that balance operational needs with technician well-being.
