Drive service revenue growth for Waukesha gas engine fleets in a defined region by developing and executing sales strategies for spare parts, upgrades, and lifecycle services. Focus on strengthening customer retention and expanding service offerings through proactive engagement with existing accounts in East Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute sales plans to increase aftermarket service revenue, including parts, repairs, and performance enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to extend engine life and improve reliability through upgrades and service contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of engine installations, service history, and active agreements to inform outreach and planning.
- Visit customer sites regularly to assess operational needs, build trust, and uncover new service opportunities.
- Prepare tailored technical and commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and secure service agreements.
- Partner with internal teams in service, engineering, and supply chain to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions.
- Track market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and stay ahead of industry shifts.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets while providing regular updates on performance and regional developments.
- Support forecasting by aligning service planning with customer needs and installed base analytics.
- Uphold company standards for safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in industrial sales or service management, particularly in power generation, gas compression, or engine systems.
- Proven success in managing customer portfolios and delivering consistent sales results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze technical and operational data to guide sales decisions.
- Self-directed and goal-focused, with a track record of working independently in field-based roles.
