What You'll Do
Oversee planning operations for finished goods across North and Latin America, ensuring consistent product availability for global distribution centers. Manage team performance against key metrics including service levels, days on hand, obsolescence, and working capital targets using established planning systems.
Identify potential supply risks and collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop mitigation strategies, escalating critical issues to leadership when necessary. Act as the secondary escalation point for supply disruptions and supplier-related challenges within your scope.
Lead efforts to improve supplier performance in areas such as on-time delivery, lead time compliance, and responsiveness. Drive corrective actions where performance gaps exist. Champion lean methodologies and continuous improvement projects that reduce waste and deliver measurable cost savings.
Provide direct supervision and functional guidance to team members, conducting regular performance reviews and development check-ins. Support cross-functional initiatives focused on optimizing service levels, reducing costs, and improving inventory efficiency in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Bring at least 5–7 years of progressive experience in supply planning, materials management, or factored sourcing roles.
Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of MRP systems, inventory control principles, and production planning processes. Have a minimum of five years of experience managing end-to-end supply chain workflows, with a focus on planning, sourcing, logistics, and distribution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience leading teams or serving as a functional lead in supply chain or planning organizations
- Track record of improving supplier performance and implementing process improvements
- Experience operating in complex, global, and multicultural supply environments
- Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP), PMP, or Lean Six Sigma
