Lead the commercial direction for a market-leading continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) portfolio in Ireland, shaping how patients and providers engage with life-changing medical technology. This role is central to advancing market access, strategic planning, and commercial performance across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy tailored to the Irish market, ensuring alignment with EMEA and global priorities.
- Drive accurate forecasting, territory optimization, and performance monitoring to meet revenue and market share goals.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Finance to align resources and strategic focus.
- Manage end-to-end execution of product launches, pricing models, and distribution channel development.
- Develop relationships with distributors, pharmacy groups, and clinical decision-makers to expand reach and adoption.
- Ensure operational readiness in supply chain, trade operations, and demand planning.
- Lead market access initiatives, including engagement with HSE, PCRS, and private healthcare entities.
- Advocate for reimbursement approvals, tender success, and policy alignment to broaden patient access.
- Advance programs targeting Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes populations, including specific segments such as paediatrics, MDI users, and adults on insulin therapy.
- Partner with clinical and policy leaders to support value-based healthcare models and local outcome studies.
What You Bring
- Proven leadership in commercial roles within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medtech environments.
- Strong background in market access, strategic planning, and commercial operations.
- Detailed knowledge of the Irish healthcare system, including reimbursement structures and procurement processes.
- Experience managing teams and delivering results in complex, regulated markets.
- 5–8 years of people leadership experience.
- Familiarity with diabetes care is highly valued.
