As Business Director, you will define and execute a regional strategy aligned with global objectives while responding to local healthcare dynamics and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the regional business plan for the Specimen Management portfolio, ensuring alignment with global goals and regional market conditions
- Drive revenue performance, exceed profitability targets, and expand market share across multiple countries
- Monitor key performance metrics, interpret sales trends, and implement data-driven improvements
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of sales, marketing, and support professionals
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development
- Lead market access initiatives by engaging with key opinion leaders, government agencies, and healthcare providers
- Identify and execute on partnership opportunities to extend market reach
- Oversee product launches and lifecycle strategies in coordination with global teams
- Ensure regional input informs future product development
- Manage budget allocation, financial planning, and forecasting for the region
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with customers, distributors, and stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field, with substantial experience in commercial leadership within the medical technology or diagnostics sector. Proven success managing multi-country operations and leading high-performance teams is essential. Fluency in English is required, along with readiness for frequent regional travel (50–70%).
Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA or advanced degree, regional experience in CEE, deep knowledge of specimen management solutions, and proficiency in local languages such as Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, or Russian.
Work Environment
