Kraken is hiring a Sr. Institutional Relationship Managers

About the Role

Kraken is hiring a Sr. Institutional Relationship Manager to expand our client base and generate new revenue by promoting our institutional products across the U.S. You will build new relationships with institutional clients and collaborate with internal teams to enhance our offerings, supporting our mission to accelerate the global adoption of cryptocurrency.

What You'll Do

  • Support the institutional sales effort across the US, driving client and volume growth for the institutional product suite.
  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members.
  • Build trustworthy relationships with institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken provides value.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence and develop new product features.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Kraken’s institutional brand presence.
  • Act as a Kraken advocate, promoting our full suite of products and services to new and existing clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Over 4 years of expertise in trading environments with a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional segment.
  • Experience at a crypto company, driving adoption of financial products (OTC, prime brokerage, custody, API solutions) for institutional clients.
  • A deep understanding of cryptocurrency regulations and the ability to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • A strong, well-established network across financial services with deep relationships among institutional and corporate clients.
  • Located in the U.S., preferably within the EST time zone, with fluency in English.

You will be part of the Institutional Sales team at Kraken, collaborating closely with marketing, product, and sales teams.

This role is based in the U.S. Kraken is a fully remote company with team members in 70+ countries who speak over 50 languages.
