As an Execution Trader based in Nicosia, you will play a key role in supporting digital asset trading operations by executing client orders with precision and efficiency. You'll operate within defined risk parameters and follow best execution principles to ensure optimal trade outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out trade execution in alignment with internal policies and risk frameworks under the guidance of senior trading staff
- Build and maintain relationships with digital asset exchanges, OTC desks, liquidity providers, and market makers, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring
- Support the development and enhancement of trading systems and infrastructure across spot, derivatives, and prime brokerage services
- Oversee proprietary trading activities and execute hedging strategies within approved limits
- Collaborate closely with operations to ensure accurate settlement and timely processing of trades
- Produce daily market updates and periodic research on digital assets
- Design dashboards and reports for management, tracking trading performance and execution quality
- Contribute to platform improvements and participate in testing new product features
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should hold a degree in economics, finance, or business administration and have at least three years of trading experience across asset classes such as digital assets, FX, or derivatives within regulated institutions. Holding or pursuing the advanced CySEC certification is required. Strong analytical abilities, deep familiarity with blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and a disciplined approach to risk and compliance are essential. You must be self-motivated, highly organized, and fluent in English.
