AbbVie is hiring a Sr. Inside Sales Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for its Facial Aesthetics portfolio, including BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers, SkinMedica®, and KYBELLA®. This role is responsible for quarterly sales quota attainment by managing business development activities through primarily phone communication with targeted aesthetic customers in a designated geographical area.
What You'll Do
- Consistently achieve sales quota across the portfolio and proficiently execute the sales component of marketing plans.
- Independently create call and business development plans across the product portfolio.
- Manage attainment of assigned sales quota and customer satisfaction through consistent communication with leadership.
- Manage your own sample allocation, place orders, provide marketing materials, and assist accounts with marketing strategies.
- Lead execution on all campaigns, promotions, new product launches, and training of accounts on company programs.
- Develop deep product knowledge to serve customer's business needs and prospect new products, programs, and training opportunities.
- Educate customers regarding product indications, contraindications, safety, and how they fulfill customer needs.
- Identify growth opportunities including expanding reach within your customer base and expanding portfolio utilization.
- Educate and support customers with marketing strategies including website, social media, office branding, patient segmentation, and external marketing.
- Pre-plan sales calls and maintain efficient time management skills to ensure maximum customer contact.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the industry and competitive products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field sales to drive sales objectives, cultivate relationships, and collaborate on growth opportunities.
- Cover leaves of absence and vacant territories, including developing and negotiating coverage plans.
- Attend required sales training and meetings.
- Complete administrative responsibilities such as presentations and expense reports on a timely basis.
- Represent AbbVie with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
- Two or more years of relevant sales experience.
- Track record of earning strong commissions.
- Ability to work independently, be highly organized, and exhibit superior communication skills.
- Ability to travel by air and/or car up to 15-20% of the time.
- Knowledge of Inside Sales selling skills and the business environment.
- Skill in managing time effectively and planning extensively to meet goals.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
