About the Role

William & Mary is looking for a Sr. Global Director Medical Affairs (GDMA) - Dermatology to support the execution of scientific and medical affairs plans in key countries and regions. You will serve as an impactful member of Product Development Team sub-teams and Global Human Health commercialization teams.

What You'll Do

  • Support execution of the annual Value & Implementation plan with medical affairs colleagues from key countries and regions.
  • Serve as an impactful member of Product Development Team sub-teams (e.g., Clinical, V & I, Commercial, Publications).
  • Contribute to the development of a single global scientific communications platform.
  • Consolidate actionable medical insights from countries and regions.
  • Engage with a network of international scientific leaders and other key stakeholders about emerging science.
  • Organize global expert input events (advisory boards and expert input forums).
  • Align plans and activities with Global Human Health (commercial) executive directors.
  • Organize global symposia and educational meetings.
  • Support key countries with the development of local data generation study concepts and protocols.
  • Review Investigator-Initiated Study proposals from key countries prior to headquarters submission.
  • Manage programs (patient support, educational or risk management) to support appropriate and safe utilization of medicines or vaccines.

What We're Looking For

  • M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D. (M.D. preferred) and recognized medical expertise in Dermatology.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in global/region medical affairs or clinical development.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with partners across divisions in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication skills (written and oral) in addition to results-oriented project management skills.

Nice to Have

  • At least 5 years Global medical affairs experience with proven track record of contribution to medical affairs strategies.
  • Customer expertise, especially of scientific leadership and other key stakeholders in the assigned therapeutic area.

Team & Environment

Member of Product Development Team sub-teams and Global Human Health commercialization teams. Collaborates with R&D, VIOR, Policy, Commercial, and Market Access.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $206,200.00 - $324,600.00
  • Eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
  • Comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, vision healthcare and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, including 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate and sick days.

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position for candidates located in the US.
