Dexcom Corporation is hiring a Senior Clinical Trial Lead to oversee the operational delivery of multi-country medical device clinical investigations across Europe. In this role, you’ll provide strategic direction, operational leadership, and cross-functional coordination from study initiation through completion, ensuring trials meet the highest standards of scientific integrity and patient-centricity.
What You'll Do
- Lead cross-functional trial teams including Site Management, Monitoring, Data Management, Biostats, Safety, and Clinical Logistics.
- Drive country and site feasibility across Europe and select sites based on clinical trial design requirements.
- Ensure protocol adherence, timely data entry, query resolution, and deviation management.
- Coordinate with ethics committees and competent authorities as needed.
- Maintain inspection-ready documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare updates, risk summaries, and decision briefs for senior leadership.
- Develop timeline plans and proactively manage the path to meet trial milestones like First Patient In (FPI).
- Provide robust vendor oversight, including CROs, and escalate and remediate issues as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5–8 years of related experience.
- Experience leading a clinical trial in all phases: start-up, execution, and close-out.
- Background in medical devices and/or diabetes clinical trials.
- Proficiency in utilizing clinical management systems and electronic data capture systems.
- Prior experience participating in inspections or audits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with post-market clinical follow-up, registries, real-world evidence, or adaptive designs.
