Adyen is looking for a Sr. Associate, Business Development to join our team in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This is an on-ground, territory-led role central to expanding our subscription-based vendor network by identifying and onboarding a diverse range of venues.
What You'll Do
- Identify and approach prospective venue partners, such as banquets, hotels, and wedding lawns, across your assigned territory.
- Pitch and close tailored subscription plans, demonstrating clear value to each partner.
- Drive subscription renewals by building strong, lasting partner relationships.
- Own the health, growth, and performance of your assigned geography.
- Stay on top of local market trends, competitor offerings, and vendor sentiments to refine sales strategies.
- Act as a brand ambassador during vendor meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
- Work closely with marketing, support, and category teams to ensure a seamless vendor experience.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and pipeline stages via CRM tools; share regular updates and insights with leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B field sales, vendor onboarding, or subscription-based sales.
- Graduate degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfort with fieldwork and travel within an assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- A hustler mindset with a commitment to results, market-awareness, and relationship-building.
