About the Role In the capacity of a Senior Analyst within Gap Inc.'s Finance department, you'll be instrumental in supporting financial operations for a comprehensive, multi-brand retail enterprise. Your role involves engaging with diverse business partners across organizational tiers, delivering essential data, analytical insights, and strategic guidance to propel financial performance in a dynamic, intricate business landscape. What You'll Do - Cultivate and sustain robust professional relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners at all organizational levels. - Generate and distribute precise, punctual monthly forecast reports to critical stakeholders, ensuring timely communication. - Facilitate financial close procedures, internal reporting, and offer comprehensive analysis for key organizational leaders. - Conduct thorough examinations of primary expenditures during budget, forecast, and closing cycles, uncovering potential cost optimization strategies. - Deliver targeted financial analysis and operational support to internal departments, including Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Finance, and Corporate and Brand Financial Planning & Analysis. - Meticulously investigate and elucidate expense deviations relative to forecasts, budgets, and historical performance; proactively identify efficiency opportunities and collaborate on innovative improvement solutions.
