About the Role
The Research Nurse Coordinator will oversee patient enrollment, coordinate study activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide nursing support for leukemia clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations of leukemia clinical research protocols
- Recruit and screen eligible patients for study participation
- Obtain informed consent from research subjects
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor health status
- Administer study-related treatments as directed
- Ensure adherence to protocol guidelines and timelines
- Collect and document clinical data accurately
- Maintain communication with principal investigators
- Schedule and track patient visits and procedures
- Coordinate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Monitor patients for adverse events and side effects
- Report adverse events according to regulatory standards
- Collaborate with regulatory teams for audit preparation
- Ensure compliance with institutional review board requirements
- Manage research records and source documentation
- Participate in study monitoring and sponsor visits
- Assist in the development of new research protocols
- Provide education to patients and families about study procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical research standards
- Support quality improvement initiatives within the research program
