Pacific Life was looking for a Sr. Account Manager - Workforce Benefits (Pennsylvania)

Pacific Life is hiring a Sr. Account Manager (internally titled Account Executive) for its Workforce Benefits Division. This remote role, focused on the Pennsylvania area, is responsible for managing relationships and driving growth for the in-force block of business.

What You'll Do

  • Foster and manage relationships with policyholders and producers through responsive communication, prompt conflict resolution, and proactive outreach.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and the customer to meet desired objectives.
  • Assess client needs and maximize cross-selling opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor renewal activity in partnership with sales and underwriting; strategically prepare renewals to retain accounts.
  • Gather underwriting data and claims experience for review to best communicate renewal actions.
  • Manage to persistency goals for the allocated block of business.
  • Assist with the enrollment process, including preparation of materials and conducting enrollment meetings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the group products sold by Pacific Life.
  • Participate in ongoing industry and community activities to stay attuned to trends and represent the company.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in group benefits in a sales or service role.
  • A 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to seek opinions of others, process feedback, and take smart risks.
  • A high degree of integrity and ability to act transparently and consistently.
  • Self-reflective and aware of own limitations; leads by example.
  • Mindset to enable breakthrough innovations and business models.

Nice to Have

  • Strong performance orientation and drive for results.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to grasp complexities and perceive relationships among business and financial issues.
  • Known for ability to respectfully and confidently collaborate and easily communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Licensed to sell Life & Health products.

  • Competitive salary range: $91,440.00 - $111,760.00.
