Rimini Street, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Account Executive

About the Role

Rimini Street is seeking a Senior Account Executive to sell world-class enterprise software support and managed solutions in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for building a sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding quarterly quotas, and managing the full sales cycle. You will report to the Director of Sales.

What You'll Do

  • Build sales pipeline in a defined territory.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly quota targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from identifying prospects through closing the deal, coordinating internal resources.
  • Manage and follow up on qualified leads.
  • Guide prospects' strategic vision toward the Rimini Street solution.
  • Execute on Rimini Street sales methodology.
  • Update and track all activities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Travel 25% to 35% of the time.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience selling ERP software solutions for Oracle.
  • Proven success at smaller start-up companies.
  • Command knowledge of the enterprise software industry.
  • Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Engage with a consultative sales approach.
  • Articulate with strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities.
  • Very strong work ethic with a 'can do, roll up your sleeves' attitude.
  • Ability to leverage a supporting team of Sales Engineers, Lead Generation, and Marketing.
  • A Bachelor's Degree.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling for major software vendors like SAP or Oracle, or competing against them in complex selling situations while at smaller start-up companies.
