Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Specialist Sales - Emerging Verticals to spearhead growth in the payments sector. This role focuses on developing fuel card and related acquiring services, leveraging market insights and strategic relationship management to optimize new business opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive the fuel card and emerging vertical sales strategy.
- Demonstrate expertise in fuel card products, gateway services, point-of-sale solutions, and outdoor payment terminals to optimize market opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor in the sector, leveraging customer insights and industry trends to guide innovation and change.
- Contribute to revenue growth by expanding contracted fuel franchise relationships and supporting pipeline development.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to set forecasts, distribute revenue targets, and support efficiency in revenue generation and retention.
- Coach colleagues to enhance knowledge of fuel card networks and market strategies, supporting talent development and business growth.
- Represent the business at industry events, providing expertise on emerging vertical trends and customer solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales within the payments or fuel sector.
- Proven ability to drive revenue and deliver business growth through strategic account management.
- Strong knowledge of the fuel sector, payment trends, and vertical-specific sales strategies.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships within complex matrix organizations.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, develop business cases, and present actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to change in dynamic, multi-geography environments.
