Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is hiring a Sourcer & Talent Insights Specialist, R&D. In this role, you will execute sourcing strategies for critical R&D roles and lead external talent insights projects. You will act as a talent advisor, using intelligence tools and data analysis to deliver meaningful insights that inform hiring strategies and capability building.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and presentation of external talent insights to the business to support recruitment planning and inform talent strategy.
- Develop and present complex talent mapping projects, providing insight into external talent availability and attraction opportunities.
- Provide strategic sourcing support on critical open roles, serving as a sourcing leader and insights expert.
- Set vision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of proactive sourcing strategies across aligned R&D functions.
- Partner with key stakeholders to build talent pipelines ahead of gaps, developing strategies for critical talent in competitive markets.
- Develop deep expertise in focus areas to understand functions, culture, and role responsibilities.
- Proactively source passive candidates through advanced techniques including Boolean search on LinkedIn, SeekOut, and industry directories.
- Conduct thorough candidate prescreening and facilitate presentation to hiring managers using Talent Acquisition platforms.
- Nurture professional pipelines by keeping talent engaged as roles become available.
- Provide updates and reporting on critical roles and sourcing activities to stakeholders.
- Develop strong partnerships with Recruiters and candidates to build a qualified candidate bench.
- Build trust with internal stakeholders including business leaders, Recruiters, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and Business HR.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years in a dedicated in-house sourcing role or retained search role.
- Strong track record in research methods and external talent landscape analysis.
- Experience creating and delivering complex talent mappings and external talent insights projects for leadership-level stakeholders.
- Ability to create and execute sourcing strategies for critical roles, leveraging available tools and research techniques.
- Strong experience in successful candidate screening, initial contact, prescreening, and interviewing.
- Experience developing and executing proactive recruiting strategies, including confidential searches.
- Strong accountability and proactivity, with a consistent track record of results.
- Proficiency in using CRM to enhance sourcing and candidate management.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years in a dedicated in-house sourcing role or retained search role.
- Talent sourcing experience in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry.
- Prior experience sourcing for R&D roles or functions.
