Position Purpose We are recruiting skilled, professional Vietnamese language experts to deliver remote telephonic interpretation services. Our team supports humanitarian efforts and emergency response campaigns, providing continuous communication support during routine and high-intensity scenarios. Core Responsibilities - Conduct telephonic consecutive interpretation between Vietnamese and English for government interactions - Perform sight translation of written documents across languages - Execute quality control review of translated materials - Complete supplementary assigned tasks as needed Mandatory Qualifications - Minimum one year of professional interpretation training/experience - Advanced bilingual proficiency (ILR scale 2+ in English and Vietnamese) - Fluent verbal communication across language registers - Ability to preserve speaker's emotional tone and communication nuances - Skilled in maintaining appropriate interpretation pace and clarity - Capability to request clarification professionally when necessary Preferred Credentials - Prior interpretation experience in FEMA disaster or humanitarian relief contexts Work Environment - Fully remote assignment - On-demand/as-needed engagement - Equal opportunity employer committed to non-discriminatory candidate consideration
