As a Geneva Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding financial services clients through the implementation of enterprise portfolio accounting technology. Your work will focus on configuring systems, automating processes, and ensuring accurate data transition and migration. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, design tailored solutions, and support clients through training and go-live phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation tasks, from requirements gathering to system configuration and optimization
- Design and deploy workflows that improve operational efficiency
- Develop data migration strategies, including historical data integration
- Deliver training sessions and provide technical support during critical deployment stages
- Diagnose and resolve system issues in coordination with internal and client teams
- Communicate project progress clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Continuously expand your knowledge through independent research and team collaboration
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of six years of experience in financial services is required, with strong familiarity in investment management, fund accounting, and back-office operations. Proficiency with general ledger systems and trial balance processes is essential.
Preference will be given to those with a postgraduate degree or hands-on experience in trading operations, particularly on the buy-side or sell-side. Technical aptitude in SQL, databases, reporting tools, and FIX protocols (versions 4.0, 4.2, 4.4) is highly valued.
