About the Role

Ashby is looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives in securing technical and commercial wins with Mid-Market customers. You will be instrumental in demonstrating how our platform transforms hiring processes through tailored engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with Account Executives throughout mid-market sales cycles.
  • Deliver personalized product demonstrations tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Facilitate well-structured product trials.
  • Coordinate comprehensive and insightful RFP responses.
  • Develop deep expertise in the product and insights into competitor offerings.
  • Translate customer feedback into product requirements for the product organization.
  • Build upon existing demo environments to craft compelling narratives.
  • Design repeatable processes to scale the solutions engineering team.
  • Help win new marquee accounts by addressing nuanced and complex requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant supporting complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS sales cycles in a team-selling motion.
  • Time spent with HR or Talent teams and a high level of empathy for their work.
  • Experience developing deep product expertise across a suite of solutions.
  • Mastery of clear communication: asking precise questions, explaining complex concepts simply, and articulating business impact.
  • Adept at creating and delivering tailored demos across a broad range of product capabilities.
  • Proactively engage Account Executives to distribute work and progress deals.
  • A partner to the product org, translating customer feedback into product enhancements.
  • Comfortable combining deep technical expertise and business acumen to build justifications for purchase.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with recruiting workflows and data in Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Demo infrastructure or demo engineering experience.
  • Value engineering or consulting experience, building bespoke and quantifiable business cases.
